This article mainly analyzes and summarizes a patient recovering from knee osteoarthritis (KOA). On the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment, dragon pot comprehensive moxibustion treatment was given, and supplemented by TCM syndrome differentiation care, including diet conditioning and emotional guidance. The clinical symptoms, knee range of motion (ROM), visual analogue scale of pain (VAS) and activity of daily living (ADL) were observed. After 2 courses of treatment, the clinical symptoms of the patient were significantly improved, the knee ROM was increased from 100° before treatment to 120°, the VAS score was reduced from 7 to 2, and the ADL score was increased from 65 to 90, which effectively improved the joint function and quality of life of patients with KOA, and was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
