Nursing of a patient with intractable hiccup treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with scraping along meridians增强出版
Heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with scraping along meridians is a traditional Chinese medicine external treatment for patients with intractable hiccup. This paper analyzed a case of refractory hiccup treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with copper bian scraping, and evaluated the quality of life score before and after treatment, the onset time of hiccup and the disappearance rate of hiccup, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions. The results showed that the application of external treatment could improve the quality of life (diet, sleep, mental state) of patients, and the onset time was short. The hiccups disappeared for a long time, and no adverse reactions occurred. Therefore, heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with scraping along meridians in the treatment of intractable hiccup can effectively improve the quality of life of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
