Nursing care of a patient with severe pneumonia treated with early awake prone position ventilation combined with HFNC
This article summarizes the nursing experience of a case of severe bacterial pneumonia treated with early awake prone ventilation combined with HFNC. Nursing measures include comprehensive evaluation of the nursing process under conscious prone position ventilation combined with HFNC treatment, oxygen therapy management, position and tubing management, and skin management. Taking effective nursing measures can not only improve oxygenation and reduce tracheal intubation rates, but also increase patient satisfaction and reduce nursing difficulties.
