Nursing implementation experience of a patient with tongue cancer complicated with severe oral mucosal inflammation and moderate radiation-induced skin injury
This article discusses a case of a tongue cancer patient who developed severe oral mucositis and moderate radiation-induced skin injury during radiotherapy. The patient's overall treatment status was dynamically evaluated using assessment tools in stages, and multidimensional nursing measures were adopted, including recovery of oral mucositis, prevention and repair of skin injury, pain reduction, weight maintenance, and moderate exercise, ultimately completing the entire radiotherapy cycle.
