Nursing care of a patient with anti-Jo-1 syndrome complicated with necrotizing fasciitis and contact dermatitis
Anti-Jo-1 antibody syndrome with necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a rare clinical condition with rapid progression, severe disease, high mortality and amputation rate. Key issues in the treatment of necrotizing fasciitis are early diagnosis, early surgical debridement, effective use of sufficient antibiotics and supportive therapy. In this case, necrotizing fasciitis caused muscle necrosis. The comprehensive nursing evaluation revealed that the patient's condition was complex and critical. The patient underwent debridement and vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) of right thigh infection for 4 times. The postoperative nursing plan was developed, including diet, skin and emotional care. After implementation of comprehensive nursing interventions, the wound healed well and patient’s quality of life was improved. Comprehensive nursing measures are effective in treating patients with Jo-1 syndrome complicated with necrotizing fasciitis and contact dermatitis, and individualized nursing interventions are recommended. At the same time, it should pay attention to individual treatment and develop targeted treatment plans according to the specific situation of patients.
