This article summarizes the nursing experience of a case of incontinence dermatitis in a stroke patient with hemiplegia. Based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, following a holistic approach and combining individualized care with syndrome differentiation as the treatment principle, Huanglian Xiaoxiao Gao, a traditional Chinese medicine preparation, is applied externally to the skin. At the same time, with proper positioning, the patient's incontinence dermatitis is effectively controlled and recovered.
