Nursing experience of a patient with toxic epidermal necrolysis treated by external application of traditional Chinese medicine
This paper summarizes the nursing effect and experience of external application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of 1 case of toxic epidermal necrolysis. Through syndrome differentiation and nursing, the patients with moderate toxic epidermal necrolysis were treated with Huanglian Xiaozhong ointment externally. After 15 days of treatment and nursing, the patients' skin gradually broke and crusted from herpes, and gradually healed. At the same time, the CVC pipeline caused by skin break could not be fixed at the beginning, until a reasonable way was found. No unplanned extubation occurred in the whole treatment cycle, and the patients were satisfied with the treatment effect. Huanglian Xiaozhong ointment has the effects of clearing away heat and dampness, reducing swelling and relieving pain, which can be further promoted and used for reference in clinic.
