Nursing Experience of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for a Patient with Lower Extremity Venous Ulcer
This article summarizes the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing experience of a patient with lower extremity venous ulcer in the general surgery department. Through nursing assessment, individualized care and comprehensive nursing measures, including traditional Chinese medicine external treatment, new dressings, pressure bandages, psychological care, dietary adjustment and health education, the ulcer wound gradually healed and the area shrank after one week of treatment. This reduced the patient's economic burden and improved their satisfaction. The aim of this article is to share the nursing experience of this case to provide a reference for the nursing practice of similar diseases.
