A case report of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing for a young breast cancer patient with fear of cancer recurrence and hair loss during chemotherapy
This paper reports the whole process of a young breast cancer patient receiving integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing during chemotherapy. Through the comprehensive health assessment, the formulation, implementation and effect evaluation of personalized nursing plan, the patient successfully completed four courses of chemotherapy. During chemotherapy, this study paid special attention to the application of narrative nursing in relieving patients' fear of cancer recurrence, the effect of relaxation training combined with ear acupoint pressing beans in reducing nausea and vomiting symptoms after chemotherapy, and the role of scalp cooling combined with external washing of traditional Chinese medicine in preventing hair loss after chemotherapy. This paper summarizes the application effect of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing in breast cancer patients during chemotherapy, in order to provide reference for clinical nursing practice.
