Nursing Experience of Integrating Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Pulmonary Rehabilitation for a Patient with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
This article summarizes the nursing experience of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine in pulmonary rehabilitation for a patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Based on a comprehensive rehabilitation assessment, a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine pulmonary rehabilitation intervention methods were adopted, including acupoint application, fire dragon cupping, six-character formula, Baduanjin, and respiratory function training. After treatment, the patient's clinical symptoms and blood gas test reports improved. Integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine in pulmonary rehabilitation can enhance the exercise endurance and quality of life of COPD patients, alleviate the symptoms of shortness of breath, and play an important role in improving the prognosis of the disease.
