Nursing Experience with Chinese Herbal Fomentation Combined with Manual Release Technique for a Patient with Persistent Pain due to Lumbar Disc Herniation
This study aimed to explore the nursing efficacy and experience of combining Chinese herbal fomentation with manual release technique in treating a patient with persistent pain due to lumbar disc herniation (LDH). Through clinical observation and nursing practice for a typical case, it was found that this combined approach effectively alleviated the patient's pain and improved their quality of life. Key nursing foci included psychological support, posture management, pain control, and rehabilitation guidance, which significantly enhanced the patient's quality of life and treatment compliance. The results demonstrated that this therapeutic regimen, combined with meticulous nursing care, significantly improved patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes. By treating one patient with persistent LDH pain using Chinese herbal fomentation combined with manual release technique, this study provides novel insights and approaches for the treatment and nursing management of patients suffering from persistent pain due to lumbar disc herniation.
