Nursing Experience with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for One Patient with Cryptogenic Organizing Pneumonia
Cryptogenic organizing pneumonia (COP), an interstitial lung disease of unknown etiology, is primarily treated with glucocorticoids but carries risks of recurrence and significant side effects. This article summarizes the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing management for one COP patient. Through symptom monitoring, medication care, respiratory rehabilitation, and specialized TCM nursing techniques, the patient's clinical symptoms were alleviated and quality of life improved. The approach demonstrates synergistic advantages of TCM syndrome differentiation nursing and Western evidence-based nursing.
