Nursing Experience of Oral Cryotherapy Combined with Auricular Apex Blood-letting for One Case of Radiotherapy-Induced Oral Mucositis in a Patient with Breast Cancer Brain Metastasis
This article summarizes the nursing experience of oral cryotherapy combined with auricular apex blood-letting for one case of radiotherapy-induced oral mucositis in a patient with breast cancer with brain metastasis. Through an integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing approach, a tailored care plan was implemented. Interventions including oral cryotherapy and auricular apex blood-letting were administered upon the onset of mild oral mucositis. These measures effectively alleviated radiotherapy-induced oral mucositis symptoms, improved the patient's quality of life, and ensured the successful completion of radiotherapy. This case aims to provide a reference for clinical nursing practice.
