Nursing Experience with Balancing Cupping Therapy Based on Back-Shu and Front-Mu Point Combination Theory for Obesity with Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Excess Pattern in a Patient
This report summarizes the clinical application of Balancing Cupping Therapy in a patient with abdominal obesity presenting with Spleen Deficiency and Dampness Excess Pattern. Guided by TCM pattern differentiation theory and grounded in an evidence-based nursing framework, the intervention employed Balancing Cupping Therapy based on the Back-Shu and Front-Mu Point Combination Theory, with foundational TCM principles and meridian theory as theoretical underpinnings. This approach effectively reduced body weight and waist circumference, enhanced self-awareness, alleviated anxiety, and improved quality of life.
