Lipidocolloid Dressing Combined with Growth Factor and Topical Oxygen Therapy in Treating a Patient with Moxibustion-induced Burn Complicated by Skin Infection and Necrosis: A Nursing Experience
This article presents a nursing case study of a patient with moxibustion-induced burn complicated by skin infection and necrosis, treated with a combination of lipidocolloid dressing, growth factor, and topical oxygen therapy. Guided by the TIME wound management principles, the integrated intervention included specialized wound care, dietary guidance, medication administration, and psychological support. Post-discharge follow-up care was provided, and after six comprehensive treatment sessions, the wound achieved complete epithelialization without adverse effects, demonstrating significantly accelerated healing.
