Report on Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing for a Patient with Facial Nerve Palsy
Facial nerve palsy is a common neurological disorder. This article summarizes the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing process for a patient with facial nerve palsy. The nursing team conducted a comprehensive nursing assessment, formulated individualized nursing plans, measures, and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatments, such as Chinese herbal compresses, auricular acupressure pills, and special acupoint acupuncture. Through comprehensive nursing, the patient's facial paralysis symptoms significantly improved and he was discharged smoothly. This article emphasizes the importance of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing in the treatment of facial nerve palsy and the positive impact of multi-dimensional nursing assessment and intervention on improving the prognosis of patients, providing a reference for clinical nursing practice.
