Nursing Experience of a Patient with Severe Pneumonia Complicated by Respiratory Failure Undergoing Mechanical Ventilation
This article summarizes the nursing care for a patient with severe pneumonia complicated by respiratory failure requiring mechanical ventilation. Based on the patient’s specific condition, a tailored nursing plan was implemented, and key nursing interventions were explored and summarized. These included monitoring vital signs, airway management, anti-infection care, nutritional support, prevention of potential complications, psychological nursing, and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)-integrated care. After active symptomatic treatment and effective nursing, the patient’s condition stabilized with normalized vital signs.
