Nursing Experience of Allergic Dermatitis Caused by PICC after Chemotherapy in a Case of Osteosarcoma
This paper summarizes the nursing experience of a patient with allergic dermatitis related to peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) after methotrexate chemotherapy. A local care plan of applying halometasone cream combined with sterile gauze dressing was adopted, supplemented by traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation treatment. Through comprehensive nursing assessment, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation analysis, and precise nursing diagnosis, an individualized nursing plan was formulated. After treatment and nursing intervention, the patient's symptoms improved significantly, effectively preventing serious complications such as PICC catheter infection and catheter dislocation, reducing the patient's suffering and economic burden.
