Nursing Report on Evidence-Based Mild Moxibustion for Cancer-Related Fatigue in a Patient with Gastrointestinal Malignancy
This nursing case report summarizes the effects of evidence-based mild moxibustion intervention on fatigue symptoms, quality of life, and immune function in a patient with cancer-related fatigue (CRF) secondary to gastrointestinal malignancy. Based on evidence, the acupoints Zusanli (ST36, bilateral), Guanyuan (CV4), Shenque (CV8), Qihai (CV6), and Zhongwan (CV12) were selected for moxibustion. The intervention was administered daily from 7:00 to 11:00 AM, lasting 20 minutes per session, for 14 consecutive days. Results demonstrated that mild moxibustion effectively alleviated CRF symptoms, enhanced immune function, and improved quality of life, providing a reference for clinical practice.
