Nursing Report on Auricular Point Pressing Combined with Intradermal Needling for the Treatment of Lung Cancer-related Insomnia
This article summarizes the clinical nursing practice of one patient with lung cancer-related insomnia treated by auricular point pressing combined with intradermal needling. After performing auricular point pressing and intradermal needle embedding on the patient, the medical team guided the patient to master the correct acupoint pressing techniques and frequency in parallel, along with implementing routine basic nursing, TCM dietary guidance, medication monitoring and emotional counseling as auxiliary interventions. After standardized intervention, the patient's insomnia caused by the distress of lung cancer was effectively improved, and the patient’s nighttime sleep quality was significantly enhanced.
