Case Analysis of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing for a Patient with Acute Cerebral Infarction (Stroke Disease) Caused by Phlegm-Heat Stasis Obstruction
Stroke is a serious disease. Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing is of great significance in improving patients' functional disorders. This case involves a 67-year-old male patient who was admitted to the hospital due to sudden aggravation of left limb weakness. After imaging examination, he was diagnosed with acute cerebral infarction, and the traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis was phlegm-heat stasis obstruction. After admission, a comprehensive nursing assessment was completed, and nursing diagnoses such as limb movement disorder and speech function disorder were established. Short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals were set, and traditional Chinese medicine appropriate techniques such as the water jar therapy, modern rehabilitation functional training, and overall nursing intervention were implemented. After 14 days of systematic nursing, the patient's left lower limb muscle strength and speech function recovered from grade III to grade V, and the quality of life score increased from 78 points to 98 points. Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing can effectively improve the neurological function of stroke patients and significantly improve their quality of life. It provides useful references for the nursing of similar cases in clinical practice and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
