Nursing Experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine Collapse-Damp Therapy for Limb Swelling and Pain in a Patient After Transradial Coronary Angiography
This paper analyzes and summarizes the clinical nursing experience of applying traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) collapse-damp therapy combined with comprehensive nursing interventions for a patient who developed limb swelling and pain on the operative side following transradial coronary angiography (TRA). Through comprehensive nursing assessment and precise nursing diagnoses, TCM collapse-damp therapy, a characteristic therapeutic approach, was employed in addition to routine postoperative nursing care. Following the intervention, the swelling on the patient's operative-side limb subsided rapidly, and pain was significantly relieved, with favorable overall recovery outcomes. Practice has confirmed that TCM collapse-damp therapy combined with targeted comprehensive nursing can effectively alleviate limb swelling and pain after transradial coronary angiography. This TCM nursing technique demonstrates the advantages of high safety, simple operation, and excellent patient acceptance, making it suitable for widespread application in clinical nursing practice.
