Experience with Pre-hospital and In-hospital Integrated Emergency Nursing Care for a Patient with Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage
This case summarizes the experience of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine emergency nursing care for a patient with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage under the pre-hospital and in-hospital integrated treatment model. Following admission, the emergency green channel was activated. In response to the patient's coma and the pathological characteristics of disordered qi movement, traditional Chinese medicine nursing interventions based on syndrome differentiation, including acupoint massage at Renzhong and Yongquan, were implemented as adjunctive therapies alongside Western medicine emergency measures such as airway management, intracranial pressure reduction, blood pressure control, potassium correction, and electrocardiographic monitoring. Through seamless pre-hospital and in-hospital coordination and the comprehensive application of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing, emergency procedures including vital sign monitoring, airway management, and imaging examinations were completed within 1 hour and 40 minutes. The patient's vital signs stabilized, and the patient was successfully transferred to a superior hospital for further treatment.
