Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing Care for a Patient with Refractory Wound Undergoing Autologous Microskin Grafting: A Case Report
This article explores the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing strategy employed for a patient with refractory wounds complicated by type 2 diabetes mellitus and lower extremity vascular disease following autologous microskin grafting. Through a comprehensive integrated assessment combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine approaches, refined and synchronous interventions were implemented, including wound care, pain management, blood glucose regulation, nutritional support, emotional regulation, and rehabilitation guidance. Ultimately, the skin graft survived favorably and the wound healed successfully without complications. Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing can significantly enhance rehabilitation outcomes following microskin grafting and provide a reference for the clinical nursing care of refractory wounds.
