Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing Care for a Patient with Acute Cerebral Infarction Undergoing Intravenous Thrombolysis
To explore the effectiveness of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine (TCM-Western) nursing care for a patient with acute cerebral infarction undergoing intravenous thrombolysis.
Methods
2
A 68-year-old patient with acute cerebral infarction was selected as the study subject. In response to five identified nursing diagnoses, including hemorrhage risk and impaired physical mobility, integrated TCM-Western nursing interventions were implemented, encompassing post-thrombolysis hemorrhage prevention and control, limb rehabilitation training, swallowing care, skin care, and psychological care, combined with TCM auricular acupressure, emotional restraint-counteraction therapy, and acupoint massage.
Results
2
No complications occurred during hospitalization. At discharge, the muscle strength of the right upper limb had returned to normal, swallowing function was improved, and anxiety symptoms were alleviated.
Conclusion
2
Targeted integrated TCM-Western nursing care for patients with acute cerebral infarction receiving intravenous thrombolysis can effectively prevent and control complications, promote the recovery of limb function and psychological well-being, and demonstrates high clinical application value.
