Nursing Care Experience for One Patient with Recurrent Low-Grade Fever, Palpitation Complicated with Insomnia Following External Heat Disease
This article explores and summarizes the nursing practice of auricular point sticking combined with acupoint massage applied to one patient with recurrent low-grade fever, palpitation complicated with insomnia following an external heat disease. Under the guidance of the TCM principle of syndrome differentiation-based nursing care, characteristic TCM techniques including auricular point sticking and acupoint massage were integrated into the nursing process, alongside comprehensive interventions such as dietary regulation, medication supervision, sleep management, psychological counseling, and rehabilitation education. The results indicated that this nursing strategy effectively relieved the patient's physical discomfort and produced a positive improvement in overall living status.
