Nursing Experience of Traditional Chinese Medicine for One Patient with Ankylosing Spondylitis Treated by Ginger-Partitioned Moxibustion on the Du Meridian Combined with Chinese Herbal Wet Compress
This article summarizes the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing experience for one patient with ankylosing spondylitis. External traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) techniques, including ginger-partitioned moxibustion on the Du Meridian and Chinese herbal wet compress, were employed, with strict adherence to standardized operational key points and protective measures. These interventions were supplemented by individualized dietary regulation, daily life guidance, functional exercise, and emotional nursing. Following systematic intervention, the patient's low back pain and morning stiffness were significantly alleviated, and spinal mobility was effectively improved. This case confirms that the characteristic TCM nursing protocol can effectively relieve patients' suffering, restore limb function, and serve as a practical reference for clinical nursing care of patients with this condition.
