Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Nursing Care for a Patient with Atrial Fibrillation Complicated by Severe Pneumonia Undergoing Prone Position Ventilation Combined with Sequential Sputum Clearance: A Case Report
This article summarizes the nursing experience of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine for a patient with atrial fibrillation complicated by severe pneumonia. Following admission, based on the patient's clinical symptoms, prone position ventilation combined with sequential sputum clearance was implemented to improve pulmonary ventilation and promote sputum drainage. Simultaneously, appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine interventions were performed to alleviate pain and anxiety, while standardized management of anticoagulant therapy was rigorously implemented. After 16 days of comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and nursing care, the patient's pulmonary infection was completely controlled, and the patient subsequently successfully underwent radiofrequency ablation and was discharged after recovery.
