This paper summarized the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing management of a patient with intractable hiccup complicated with upper digestive tract bleeding. A comprehensive and individualized nursing plan was formed through the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing methods, such as acupoint injection, acupuncture, diet, emotional nursing, rehabilitation exercise and guidance. The integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing interventions are effective to improve the quality of life and recovery of patients.
