Experience of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing for a postoperative recovery period patient with liver cancer
This article introduces the experience of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing for a postoperative recovery period patient with liver cancer in our hospital. The patient underwent postoperative indwelling of an inferior vena cava filter, vena cava foramen, and hepatic section catheter. The patient experienced poor appetite, acid reflux, and cough symptoms, which affected her postoperative recovery. While carrying out routine care for the patient, the nurses participated in acupuncture, auricular point compression, diet and emotional care under the guidance of Traditional Chinese Medicine doctors. After intervention, the number of acid reflux episodes in the patient was reduced, her appetite increased, cough symptoms disappeared, and the postoperative weakness was regulated. The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing has strengthened the therapeutic effect and promoted the patient’s recovery.
