Nursing of patient with sequela of peripheral facial paralysis syndrome of wind-phlegm blocking collaterals treated with scraping therapy combined with auricular point sticking and intermediate frequency pulse electrical stimulation
Peripheral facial paralysis with wind phlegm obstructing the meridians is caused by insufficient righteous qi, weak external defense, and invasion of the meridians by external pathogens. The treatment mainly focuses on dispelling wind and phlegm, and unblocking meridians. This article summarizes the Nursing of patient with sequela of peripheral facial paralysis syndrome of wind-phlegm blocking collaterals treated with scraping therapy combined with auricular point sticking and intermediate frequency pulse electrical stimulation, including special scraping to unblock meridians, promote qi and blood circulation; dialectically selecting acupoints by applying ear acupoint pressure to coordinate yin and yang, and regulate organs; intermediate frequency pulse electrical stimulation promotes autonomous muscle control and reduces swallowing disorders. Through continuous dialectical nursing, the patient's facial paralysis symptoms have been effectively improved.
