Nursing experience of a patient with spastic paralysis of the upper limbs after stroke improved by acupoint massage on the three yin meridians of the hand
This paper summarizes the nursing experience of a patient with Ashworth 1+ spastic paralysis of upper limb after stroke. The symptoms of the patient were improved by acupoint massage on the three yin meridians of the hand. Based on the theory of TCM syndrome differentiation nursing, this paper adopts acupoint massage on the three yin meridians of the hand combined with daily life, diet care, rehabilitation guidance and other intervention measures. As a result, the symptoms of spastic paralysis of the upper limbs after stroke were effectively improved, and the modified Ashworth classification was reduced to grade 0, which enhanced the patient's comfort, improved the patient's quality of life, and strengthened the patient's confidence in overcoming the disease.
