Nursing of a patient with stroke-related pneumonia treated with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine
Stroke patients are prone to stroke-related pneumonia, which is the most common complication of stroke patients, due to consciousness disorders, swallowing difficulties, coughing with diet and water, aspiration and other reasons, or limb dysfunction and long-term bed rest. This paper summarizes the nursing practice of a case of stroke-related pneumonia treated with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Based on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation, appropriate Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing techniques, daily life support, emotional nursing, health education guidance and monitoring of vital signs were carried out to control infection and improve the quality of life of the patient.
