Nursing care of one case of facial neuritis treated with facial flash cupping combined with moxibustion
Facial neuritis, also known as facial nerve paralysis, usually has a rapid onset and typical symptoms include paralysis of facial expression muscles, facial dullness or numbness, loss of taste in the anterior two-thirds of the tongue, salivary secretion disorders, and lacrimal gland secretion disorders. It may cause anxiety and self-image disorders in patients. This article summarizes the nursing experience of a patient with facial neuritis treated with flash cupping combined with moxibustion, including the operation methods, precautions, and nursing health education of traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques. Based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation, appropriate traditional Chinese medicine techniques are adopted to improve patients' symptoms of angular deviation, effectively alleviate their pain, and improve their comfort.
