Nursing care of a patient with lumbar disc herniation treated with moxibustion combined with ear acupressure for postoperative urinary difficulties after intervertebral foramen endoscopy
This article summarizes the nursing experience of a patient with lumbar disc herniation treated with moxibustion combined with ear acupressure for postoperative urinary difficulties after intervertebral foramen endoscopy. The patient was admitted to the hospital due to lower back pain and radiation pain in the lower limbs. After surgery, the patient developed difficulty urinating. After comprehensive nursing interventions including traditional Chinese medicine nursing, pain management, thermal relaxation nursing, psychological nursing, neurological function monitoring, and constipation nursing, the patient's difficulty urinating and pain symptoms were significantly relieved and the patient was successfully discharged. This case emphasizes the key role of traditional Chinese medicine nursing in postoperative complication management and promoting rapid recovery of patients, in order to provide reference for clinical nursing of patients with similar diseases.
