Nutritional management of a patient with intracranial infection and swallowing disorders
This article summarizes the nutritional management of a patient with intracranial infection and swallowing disorders. The main nutritional support methods in clinical practice include enteral, parenteral, and combined enteral and parenteral support. Early nutritional support can correct high metabolic reactions in patients in a timely manner, improve their immune function and nutritional indicators, and thus help improve their swallowing function and muscle strength. The combination of enteral and parenteral methods in clinical practice is more effective, greatly improving the immunity of patients with intracranial infections and shortening the duration of infection.
