Application and experience of traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques in a middle-aged and elderly female patient with stress urinary incontinence
Postpartum stress urinary incontinence is a common female pelvic floor dysfunction disease, which belongs to the category of "enuresis" and "drowning" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is mainly manifested as involuntary urine leakage after pregnancy or childbirth, which seriously affects the quality of life. This paper summarizes the experience of nursing a patient with stress urinary incontinence. In this paper, based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and on the basis of syndrome differentiation, TCM nursing techniques such as abdominal finger point, thunder fire moxibustion, ear scraping, ear point sticking and wrist and ankle acupuncture therapy are used to improve patients' stress urinary incontinence, provide health guidance to patients, enhance the function of viscera, achieve the balance of Yin and Yang, maintain good urination function, and reduce the occurrence of urinary incontinence in patients.
